A celebration of community in the tradition of St. Ben's German Roots! True to the customs of the Bavarian festival, St. Benedict’s OktoberFest promises entertainment for the whole family, with music, food, beverages, carnival rides and games!
Cheerful toasts of “Zum Wohl” and shouts of “Prost!” will resonate through the parish courtyard once more as we celebrate our German roots with the 58th Annual OktoberFest.
Proceeds from the festival are utilized to benefit local outreach, programming, and fund church operations, restoration and other Parish initiatives.

The Richmond Folk Festival will return to celebrate its 20th anniversary the weekend of September 27-29, 2024. The festival has become one of Virginia’s largest, drawing fans each year to downtown Richmond’s riverfront to celebrate the roots, richness, and variety of American culture through music, dance, traditional crafts, storytelling, and food. Featuring six stages and showcasing music and dance from more than 30 artists from around the nation and the world, the Richmond Folk Festival promises, as always, to return with a culturally diverse and impressive program.
