Richmond Bluegrass Jam

The Richmond Bluegrass Jam exists to raise money for military veterans and their families through the Richmond Fisher House and Liberation Veteran Services. But who says you can’t have a whole lot of fun in the process? Here are a few things you need to know:
There is no charge for admission, but we ask all who come to make a generous donation. All proceeds will go to support veterans and military families, and gifts are tax-deductible.
Parking is available at James River High School (3700 James River Rd.), with free shuttles running all day.
The Children's Museum of Richmond will be hosting family activities, games, and challenges from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Bring camp/lawn chairs or a blanket with you--preset seating is limited.
Please leave pets at home.
No outside food and beverages, please.
If you play, bring your instrument along. We have lots of open jam space where you can join the pickin’. And, we’ll have a secured instrument check station.
Come prepared for the weather of the day--this is an outdoor venue.
Fan Arts Stroll
Dates: May 16th and May 17th, 2024
Time: 4pm-8pm
Location: 2000-2500 Hanover Ave and 2200-2500 Grove Ave
