New Exhibition: Samurai Armor from the Collection of Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller

  • About: Travel back in time for an awe-inspiring look at Japan’s exquisitely crafted samurai armor from one of the largest and finest collections in the world. The assembled works offer a glimpse of samurai history with a focus on the flourishing culture of the Edo period and a rare personal encounter with the artistry and craftsmanship of its famed armor.

  • About: The Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger is RVA’s favorite spring tradition! Since 2000, people from around the Richmond region and beyond have gathered to share in the journey of crossing the 10k finish line. The 10k is a day about togetherness and we look forward to bringing the community together once more for the 25th running of the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k. Walk with your family, reunite with your running buddies, or cross the finish line in costume...just don't miss the silver anniversary because it's going to be the BIGGEST block party ever!

Bring a roomy wagon to carry home the bounty of herbs, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and even trees, plus garden accessories and garden-inspired goodies from large nurseries like Colesville and specialty plant growers, too. Browse the wares of more than 90 vendors carrying native and exotic plants and unique gift items, including yarrow, the 2024 Herb of the Year!
